Assistant Customer Service Manager at Wolf Creek Company

Job Description Overview:

The Assistant Customer Service Manager will be responsible for training with the Customer Service Manager to meet or exceed customer needs while providing leadership and direction to assure a productive, profitable and timely service to Wolf Creek Company customers. This is a full-time, permanent exempt, salary position.  This position reports directly to Jeff Crossan, Customer Service Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Learn and practice quality, professional leadership skills with all members of the Wolf Pack
  • Obtain and build near expert level product and application knowledge
  • Provide asset control by monitoring and maintaining inventory, facilities and equipment
  • Help plan and implement marketing and sales activities for your territory
  • Promote and merchandize your branch with the help of Marketing personnel and strategies
  • Maintain warehouse in a clean, efficient and professional manner
  • Maintain fiscally responsible gross margins to create value for customers, owners and Wolf Pack
  • Assist Director of Landscape Systems with current and new initiatives

Position Requirements:

  • Professional oral and written skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Word, Outlook and basic computer knowledge
  • Exemplary driving record
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds using proper safety techniques
  • Ability to calculate basic math related to design for all product lines, quoting and pricing

Warehouse Support Customer Service Representative

Location: Louisville, KY

The following describes the position, expectations, skills and compensation for this role.

JOB SUMMARY

Wolf Creek Company is currently looking for a Warehouse Support Customer Service Representative. This position will consist of providing reliable inside sales and counter sales as well as local delivery of purchased products. Ideal candidate will have some customer service experience and a valid driver’s license. Candidate must have a clean driving record to travel to multiple customer locations throughout the Louisville area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and maintain GREAT customer service.
  • Learn and develop ability to provide assistance with customer inquiries and assist members of the team
  • Provide counter sales while using excellent customer service procedures.
  • Create an attractive and productive environment for customers and staff.
  • Assist in the safe operation of all company equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Communicate with office/warehouse staff to resolve any customer issues or concerns
  • Deliver product to customers in a timely, professional manner
  • Accurately pull and check product orders
  • General cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse

QUALIFICATIONS – Knowledge, Skill and Personal Attributes Required

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Valid driver’s license and must be insurable.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have good attendance and punctuality
  • High School Diploma or Industry experience
  • Basic math related to design for product lines, quoting and price calculations.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in a professional manner
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds using proper safety techniques
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
