This winter has been an odd one, with more rain than snow soaking the grounds. Although this may be bad for those who plow snow, it does however offer other opportunities. Drainage is much need now and come spring. The NDS EZ Flow Way makes those muddy jobs a little easier.
Hauling gravel is exhausting. The NDS EZ Flo Way French Drain cuts out gravel and is light weight. French drains, so named by their inventor Henry Flagg French of Concord, Massachusetts in the mid-1800’s, provide an easy channel for water to flow through. Water runs into a gravel-filled trench, then into perforated pipe at the bottom of the trench. Now the NDS EZ Flow Way French Drain has made it easier.
The NDS EZ Flow Way
With the EZ Flow Way, just dig a trench, lay in the EZ Flow tile, and dress off the trench. Thanks to this new method, time and money are saved. A 3 or 4 slotted corrugated pipe is surrounded by NDS poly-rock and wrapped in a geotextile fabric. The geotextile fabric is made out of a fine weave mesh that filters the dirt out, preventing a clogged pipe. This makes the EZ Flow crush proof, have a 100 year lifespan, and good for the environment; qualifying for LEEDS credits.
The EZ Flow is available in common pipe sizes. List price is around $6 per foot and is packaged in 10’ sections with 9 sections per bundle. This works for any type of drainage installation such as typical french drain, foundation drain, and it is great for retaining walls.
The EZ Flow is useful for landscape, roof run-off, basement of crawlspace dewatering, retaining walls, foundations or perimeters, and interceptors. Designed to take water out of the soil and pipe it to a safe discharge point, the EZ flow could also work well in rain gardens. Talk to your local Wolf Creek Co. rep to learn more.
