Wolf Creek Company is proud to sponsor Tri-C Plant Science and Landscape Technology program for the 2021 National Collegiate Landscape Competition, which is taking place virtually March 15-19, 2021.
For more than 40 years, the event has showcased the skills of college and university landscape and horticulture students in the United States and Canada, bringing them together with companies that are actively recruiting future employees.
Wolf Creek is proud that in 2019 Tri-C’s Frank Vareska took the No. 1 spot among Two-Year programs. The school also placed third overall in the nation.
For the 2021 competition, more than two-thirds of the regular annual competitive events have been adapted to online versions called “challenges,” in which students will receive individual scores. The NCLC will include 20 “challenge” events, 17 educational workshops, the Career Fair and career development opportunities.
The challenges are individually scored and do not roll up to a team score. Scores will still be shared so students can see how they performed compared to other students and other schools.
Unlike the in-person event, students do not have to pick and choose which workshops to attend as these are available on-demand so students can attend them on their own schedule. The workshops can be accessed during the event week or any time after NCLC for up to a year.
For more information about the Career Fair, Challenges, and Student Workshops, visit the NCLC program webpage.
Thank you for your support, we can’t do it without the team at Wolf Creek!
